Breville BOV650XL Compact 4-Slice Smart Stove With Element IQ Review

The Breville BOV650XL Compact 4-Slice Smart Stove with Element IQ is a mid-priced little brother to well-known Breville Smart Oven. It returns jam-packed with features within Breville's "Element IQ" which I shall explain later in this review. First of all, a brief overview regarding the specs;
Power draw - 1800-watts
Dimensions - 14.2 x 16.5 x 10 inches; 13.9 pounds
Features - Backlit LCD screen, 4 rack positions, removable tray
Included - 10 x 10 inch enamel backing pot and broil rack

The Element IQ is an energy-saving feature special to Breville's toaster ovens. It is a sensor technology that automatically adjusts the baking heat and baking time to make sure that optimal energy-efficient operation. It returns with eight pre-set baking modes, consequently they shall be changed to your preference and the stove shall even do not forget the settings next time you use it. I was sceptical of this feature, but in oven tray definitely worked very well and not ever once burned any of my food. It's also a well-being feature as it shall shut the stove off when the food is done cooking. A neat trick that the stove knows is that it shall adjust the toasting length of bagels or roll if it was recently used and still warm. This means that you will not get an over-toasted piece of toast or bagel if someone already used the toaster ahead of you.

The Breville BOV650XL returns in a sleek, attractive product that looks good in my kitchen. It has an easy-to-read backlit LCD display, which changes color to indicate whether the stove is on or not. All in all, it's a very nice seeing toaster oven.
A good thing I should spot out is that this model returns with a heavy enameled baking pot and wire rack, as opposed to a cost effective metal ones that return with most toaster ovens. You can tell they can be of high-quality just by seeing at them, and should definitely stand up in this warm stove without warping. The door is very easy to reveal and the crumb tray is removable from the front, creating it easy to simple the inside.
So, what related to the baking ability?
Of course, the highest many important aspect of a toaster stove is the baking ability, and the Breville BOV650XL excels in this area. As I mentioned earlier, the Element IQ feature regarding the stove shall automatically alter the baking heat and time together with the built-in sensors. The good thing about this is that it cooks the food exactly similar method every time, meaning you get a done bagel, pizza, cake, or any other food, every time. Yes, that is right, I definitely cooked a cake in this oven, and it turned out beautifully. I use this stove mostly for bagels within the morning, but it works good for just about anything you would should bake or heat up. The huge capacity allows for up to 8×10 baking, or baking a 12″ pizza.
The instructions and controls are easy to use, and you will be can pick it up and leave right away.
Is this toaster stove worth the price?
As a mid-priced toaster oven, I definitely ponder so! It is a high-quality stove as you should expect from Breville, and the special Element IQ technology creates it a snap to use and gives you nicely toasted/cooked food every time. It should be a bit more expensive that other toaster ovens, but I ponder it's reflected within the quality regarding the unit. If you are still on the hunt for the done toaster oven, I suggest checking out my web location on Toaster Stove Reviews, within multiple other Breville Toaster Stove reviews.
